An interactive session on how stigma, silence and visibility shape our experience of mental health and recovery after life-changing events.

Drawing on lived experience and historical references, Hamish reflects on how shame and secrecy keep us stuck — and how being seen, heard, and understood can become a turning point in healing.

Through stories and discussion, the session explores how openness and self-acceptance transform the way we relate to ourselves and others — challenging assumptions, sharing experiences, and showing how speaking up, even in small ways, creates real change.
